A chipped windscreen does more than just mar the view. Chips lead to cracks, which reduce visibility and could cause accidents. As a volunteer in a busy emergency room for years, I saw a lot of traffic accident victims, and an appalling number of them were in accidents that were linked to windscreen cracks. For years, I wondered what more I could do to help, and I finally realised that I simply needed to get the word out. This blog is my way of getting the word out. It is dedicated to the victims who weren't lucky enough to hear about the risks of cracked glass. It focuses on protecting your vehicle's glass, repairing it when problems arise and understanding when you should replace it.
